The things courses ask first
Straight answers, in the order people usually ask them. If yours is not here, ask us and we will add it.
Starting
Do we have to replace our booking system?
Can we start with just the cart tracking?
How long does it take to get running?
Setting up the course itself, meaning holes, slots, hours, prices, services and staff, takes days rather than months, and we do it with you. Getting a crew genuinely comfortable takes a season, which is why we suggest starting with areas you are the most comfortable or are the most critical.
What if our staff are not good with software?
This is the most common worry and it is a fair one. The crew app is built for people working outdoors with gloves on. We train on site, and every task arrives with the person, the equipment and the checklist already attached, so there is very little to learn (an hour perhaps). Tasks and checklists can also run on a television in the crew room.
Can GolfOS run more than one location?
What it is
What is GolfOS, in one paragraph?
What does the player app do?
Tee times across every course on the system, tournament sign-up in one tap, live scoring, GPS course maps with distances, statistics over a season, events, forms, surveys, news, notifications, and QR access for carts, lockers and doors. It is on the App Store, Google Play and Huawei AppGallery. More on the player app.
What does the crew app do?
How does the cart tracking work?
What does the AI layer actually do?
Because everything runs in one place, the system can read the tee sheet against the fleet against the crew roster against the weather, and say something specific when they stop adding up: a cart shortage forming on the front nine, a crew slot that has opened up, an invoice that does not match its work order. Each recommendation comes with a confidence figure and a button to act on it or dismiss it.
How does it help revenue?
Mostly by removing friction rather than adding features. Pace problems are caught before tee times are lost. Bar cart and pro shop requests reach staff while the player is still on the course. Fewer vendor contracts. Less staff time on radios, spreadsheets and retyping. Take it for a spin, see its potential for your self.
How does it protect the turf?
Zoning and geo-fencing rules on the carts, so they stay off wet greens, new turf and holes under repair. Greenkeeping tasks with checklists, so maintenance is done the way it was specified. And the fleet data over a season, so you can see where carts actually go. Plus the 3rd party addons; drone oveview, measuring turf and inner ground, all complimenting each other, reducing stress, water and electicity consumption.
Money, data and us
What does it cost?
Priced per course, per month, and it depends on the size of the course, how many carts, which parts you switch on and whether you want the cart hardware. Get in touch so we can give a real figure on a call rather than a made-up one here. What decides the price.
What happens to our data if we stop using GolfOS?
Simply, your data is yours, we would never delete it without making sure you have it all. You can also export it at any time.
What happens to us if you disappear?
A fair question to ask. Your data is on Amazon cloud, exportable and your booking system is untouched, so your basic operation does not depend on us. Our systems run for years without a failure.
Who is behind GolfOS?
The GolfOS is built by ManagerApp, based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and part of the Elektronček Group. We have been building operational mobile apps for years across charter fleets, hospitality industry and business associations. The golf system is the same platform, pointed at a course, and it was built at Golf Resort Arboretum, where it runs every day.
How do we see it?
